I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, MEd) and offer support to my clients as both a Psychotherapist and a Mind/Body Life Coach. I combine two very different approaches and create a set of tools and ways of thinking that can catapult you way further than either of these approaches on their own. You may be wondering what the difference is between life coaching and psychotherapy.
Psychotherapists support clients on an array of issues or problems that centre mostly around mental health concerns. You might be seeking out a psychotherapist if you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, burnout, PTSD, trauma recovery, divorce/separation, parenting, body image, women’s mental health concerns, a stressful life situation or the loss of a loved one. Psychotherapists have specialized training in a range of possible approaches. Some of the approaches that I have training and experience with are as follows: Cognitive Behavioural Science, EMDR, Emotion-Focussed Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Life Coaching is distinct in terms of the training, the regulation required and the needs of the client. Where Psychotherapy is generally working to support someone with concerns around mental health, life coaches are looking to support a client who is generally high functioning and wants to take their life, dreams and goals to the next level. I received my Life Coach Training from The Life Coach School. This training has enriched my life, and I’m so proud to be able to call myself a Professional Certified Coach with The Life Coach School. While there is definitely some overlap between the two approaches, it is very important to find out which service makes the most sense for you, depending on your situation and your needs. This is something I can help clarify during an initial get to know you call.

$100/35 min session
I accept E transfer for payment of services.
